Project: 3310 - Woodend Barn

Client: Private

Location: Disley

Works: Conversion of an unused agricultural building into a single dwelling

Sectors: Conservation

The purpose of this project was to convert an unused metal barn into a residential dwelling that made use of the stunning views to the north of the site. With this in mind, we proposed large bi-fold doors to open onto a north facing patio and softly landscaped garden. As the property is a bungalow, a corridor snakes round the dwelling leading to different rooms; this is mirrored above by a continuous snaking skylight. This ensures light reaches every part of the property.
